WHIFFLE BALL RULES
2009

1)   Double elimination
2)   Six-inning game or 45 minute time limit—strictly enforced, game will end.
3)   Seven fielders on the field
4)   Ten members maximum per team
5)   All players may bat
6)   Umpire's decisions are final
7)   Each team must have one team captain. The captain is the only team
      member that may appeal a call.
8)   Umpire may check the bats before each game (regulation bats only)
9)   No "high" taping of bats
10) No aluminum bats
11) No "frozen" bats
12) Team Captain is the only person who may request the umpire to instruct the
      pitcher to slow the pitches
13) No metal spikes
14) No stealing or leading off of bases
15) Junior class teams must have a person over age 16 to coach
16) No foul language
17) No fighting. Player(s) fighting will be ejected from the game or tourney
18) Not responsible for accidents
19) Whiffle balls are provided. Each team is responsible for their own bats
20) No bunting
21) Twelve-run rule after three innings
